On ne frappe pas un homme à terre : c'est ce que dit la règle mais NONE a déjà prouvé qu'il ne les suivait pas et si son album éponyme retirait toute perspective de béatitude spirituelle, Life has gone on long enough, son deuxième opus, nous interdit l'accès au bonheur terrestre. La vie n'a aucune substance et la production plus distante le confirme. Le DSBM s'empare de textures sonores blues, mettant en relief une dépression urbaine. Les cris partent en fumées : ne restent que les pleurs...

Italian Depressive Black Metal. This is a very nice, largely instrumental little EP. It is a debut EP by unknown people but a debut nevertheless. As such, it is extremely good! Plus I get to look forward to much more hopefully & please! Highly recommended!

Winds of Sorrow est l'une des multiples facettes de l'artiste néo-zélandais Mort et aussi l'une des plus brèves puisque seul Through Twilight... naîtra sous ce patronyme. Mort part d'un bon concept, à savoir créer un doom metal/dungeon avec une emphase sur ce dernier, mais voit trop grand en visant le format de l'album alors qu'une démo était suffisante. Les atmosphères gothiques et parfois folkloriques sont envoûtantes mais couvrent trop une voix qu'on finit par oublier. Un album sympathique.
